Ulrich Gehrmann holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree as well as a Bachelors Degree of Economics. Since 1991 Ulrich Gehrmann has served as CEO of the Kontron (previously PEP) Modular Computers Group and since 2000 he is also CEO of EMEA for the Kontron group.
Prior to joining PEP, Ulrich held several senior level positions for one of Europe's largest retailers and was vice president of a leading German industry group. In addition to his duties at Kontron, he is presently an active board member in several high-tech companies.
Since December 2007 Ulrich Gehrmann is CEO of the Kontron Group.
Thomas Sparrvik - Vice Chairman, Kontron AG, Chief Executive Officer, Kontron America & Asia-Pacific

- Thomas Sparrvik - Vice Chairman
Thomas Sparrvik is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Kontron America and A/PAC (Asia and Pacific Region). He is an experienced international senior executive with a successful track record of managing and revitalizing technology companies. Mr. Sparrvik also has global expertise with business development, P&L, finance, operations, sales and marketing, strategic planning and turnarounds. He recently ran the Kontron Mobile Computing operations (formerly Fieldworks, Inc.) and turned the company profitable and positioned it to achieve continued growth. Mr. Sparrvik is now charged with leading Kontron's North America and Asia operations ensuring Kontron builds on its prominent market position.
Previously, Mr. Sparrvik was CEO at Laserstans AB, Sweden, a subcontract manufacturer. Prior to that, he was CEO at Betech Components AB, Sweden, a supplier of industrial computers, displays and automation products. He was formerly a Project Manager for the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV), an agency that defines, develops, procures and delivers the materiel systems of the Swedish Armed Forces. Mr. Sparrvik is also a Reserve Officer and Captain in the Swedish Army.
Mr. Sparrvik holds an MBA from the Warwick Business School, University of Warwick, Coventry, England; a MSc in Electrical Engineering from Lund University, Sweden; and a BA in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications from Pauli College, Malmoe, Sweden. Mr. Sparrvik is also a certified engineer by FEANI, Brussels.
Dr. Martin Zurek – Chief Production Officer

After obtaining his degree in technical physics, Martin Zurek continued his studies in this field receiving his PhD in Munich before working as head of prototype development and marketing at a company that developed composite materials. Dr. Zurek joined Kontron in 2000 and introduced an inter-regional project management team spanning locations across Europe. Between 2003 and 2006 he developed and managed the Europe-wide distribution of Kontron products and services. Dr. Zurek has been a member of the Kontron board since January 2007 and is responsible for worldwide production, logistics and quality.
Dieter Gauglitz – Chief Financial Officer

After completing his apprenticeship in banking, Dieter Gauglitz studied business administration at the University of Augsburg in Germany. During this time he was also in charge of several projects and training programs at various banks. After completing his studies, Mr. Gauglitz spent a further year in the banking sector before joining Ernst & Young in Munich. After passing exams to become a tax consultant and chartered accountant, Mr. Gauglitz was a senior manager responsible for auditing companies listed on the stock exchange in the telecommunications, media and technology sectors. He was also a member of internal national and international IFRS committees. Company evaluations and due diligence examinations were also part of his responsibilities. Since January 1, 2008 Mr. Gauglitz has been CFO at Kontron responsible for all finances including controlling and IT. He has been a member of the Kontron board since June 2008.
